Mary Murline Taylor Lumpkin, 86, of Bryant, passed away December 3, 2017. She was born March 28, 1931, in England, Arkansas to Esther and Bill Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Taylor and Bill Taylor; and sisters, Earlene Young, Mary Frances Taylor, Pat Adams, and Brenda Daugherty. She is survived by her one beloved son, Tony Terry (wife, Janna) of Bryant, and two cherished grandchildren, Emily and Nathan Terry of Bryant; brothers, J.B. Taylor (wife, Joyce Ann) of Little Rock, and Jimmy Don Taylor of White Hall; many nieces and nephews; and honorary family, Ramesh and Seetha Sathyanarayana of San Diego, Calif., and Sanjay and Gail Wanchoo of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mary was retired from The State of Arkansas Office of Rehabilitation. She graduated from Plum Bayou High School in 1949 where she played basketball. She was an avid Elvis fan and she loved to watch golf on TV - especially Phil Mickelson. She also loved going to Branson, cheering on the Razorbacks, growing flowers, and taking care of her puggles, Bono and Lucy. She was an extremely devoted grandmother and retired to help take care of her treasured grandchildren. She was thoughtful, warm, and always eager to extend hospitality to anyone that came to visit. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
