Earnest E. Whitehead

Earnest E. Whitehead, 68, of Scott, Ark., a Vietnam Veteran and provider extraodinaire, peacefully left this world Dec. 2. Earnest was born April 17, 1950, in Carlisle, Ark., to the late Jessie Flix Whitehead and Geneva Huston Whitehead. Ernest retired from the V.A. Medical Center with 30 years plus years of service. Earnest is preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Whitehead and brother, Jessie Jr. Survivors; wife; Willie R. Whitehead, three children, nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two brothers, one sister, many friends, and caregivers. Visitation; 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Watson Northcrest, 1801 Maple, North Little Rock. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, at Greater New Bible Way, 1207 W. 22nd, North Little Rock.
