Normadell W. Kerr

Mrs. Normadell W. Kerr, age 92, of Forrest City, died Thursday at the Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City. She had been in poor health for the past several months. Mrs. Kerr was born September 2, 1925, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of Norman Humphrey and Madie Smith Humphrey. She lived in Forrest City most of her life; was co-owner of Ray Kerr Real Estate; and was a member of the Junior Auxiliary, United Methodist Women, the Home Demonstration Club, and the Methodist Church Circle. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Kerr married J. W. Woodson in 1945, and he preceded her in death in 1956. She married Raymond Kerr in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by one daughter, Melanie Clark of Forrest City; one sister, Marilyn Moore of Benton; four grandchildren: Ginadell Adams, and husband, Frank, and Joseph Jones, all of Forrest City; Jeffrey Jones, and wife, Donna, of Lake Forest, Calif.; and Nancy Davis, and husband, Rodney, of Bartlett, Tenn.; and five great-grandchildren: Clark Davis, Gabrielle Davis, Ethan Adams, Eli Adams, and Peyton Fogg; one great-great-grandchild, Aiden Davis. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosemary Jones, her granddaughter, Allison Fogg, and her son-in-law, Bill Clark. Services for Mrs. Kerr will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 11 a.m. Monday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 10 a.m., until the time of the service.
