Thornton Tippett

Thornton Tippett 67, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2017. He was born on February 28, 1950, to the late Leroy and Ella Tippett. He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Tippett; children, Turi Tippett and Latricia Childs (James). He was a proud and loving grandfather of three: Asia Marshall, Autumn Tippett, and Caleb Childs; siblings, Hardy Tippett and Mary Tippett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., on Thursday, December 21st at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St., Little Rock, AR (501) 372-1305. Home going service will be Friday, December 22nd at 11 a.m. at Grace Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 3221 S. Gaines St., LR, Ark. 72206. Interment will follow with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark.
