Maurice Phillips Durham

Maurice Phillips Durham, 93, passed away December 18, 2017. He was born October 26, 1924, to the late William Lucian and Evelyn Phillips Durham in Searcy, Arkansas. He is survived by one niece; Donna Breckenridge (Allen) of Tucson, Arizona, and six great-nephews, one great-niece, and numerous cousins. Maurice was a member of Higginson First Baptist Church. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after a career spanning thirty-two years. Maurice also worked for J.C. Penny's for fifteen years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother; Wilburn LeMar Durham, three sisters; Katherine Johnson, Leola Gertrude Rouse, and twin, Mary Ella Durham. Visitation will be Thursday, December 21st from 5-7 p.m. at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, December 22nd at 10 a.m. at Higginson First Baptist Church. All services entrusted to Searcy McEuen.
