Jimmy Dale Campbell
Jimmy Dale Campbell, age 75, of Plumerville, Ark., passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. He was born Jan. 11, 1942, in Senath, Mo., a son of the late I.D. Campbell and Cora Gordon Campbell. He was a farmer and a member of the Portland Missionary Baptist Church. He was a former Alderman for the city of Plumerville, former Chief of the Plumerville Fire Department, and a former Police Commissioner.
Survivors include his daughter, Kelli (Howard) Smith of Plumerville; son, Chris (Jennifer) Campbell of Plumerville; grandchildren, Miranda Smith, Kaci Smith, Regenia Jones, Samantha Campbell, Aaron Campbell, John Smith, and Paul Smith; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Jo Ann) Campbell of Plumerville; and sister, Della Matlock of Catron, Mo. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Watkins Campbell; one sister; and four brothers.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at the Harris Chapel. Burial will be at Plummerville Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Online Guestbook: www.harrisfuneralhomes.net.
