Ruel Allen Casey

Ruel Allen Casey, age 75, of Shirley, Ark., passed away on Dec. 4, 2017. Born on Feb. 18, 1942 in Clarkedale, Ark., he was the son of the late John Taylor Casey and Iola Martin Casey. Ruel was a loving son, brother husband, father and grandfather, he had been employed as a Chief Engineer on an oil vessel. He was a United States Army and Navy Veteran, a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion and was affectionately known as "The Avon Guy". He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Jerry Casey, Jimmy Casey, Charlie Casey and Robert Casey. He is survived by his wife Jackie Ellen Burbridge Casey, his children Matt Casey and his wife Dianna, Clint Riggan and his wife Julie and Veronica Impson and her husband Mike, his grandchildren Matthew Casey, Steven Casey, Jason Casey, Anna Riggan, Lauren Riggan, Kayten Roy, Tripp Harris and Townes Impson, his sister Susan Casey and his brothers Johnny Casey, Stanley Casey, David Casey and Patrick (Kip) Casey.
