Fred Eugene Leach Sr.

Fred Eugene Leach Sr., age 97, of Jordan, Utah, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was born November 27, 1920, in Adona, Arkansas, a son of the late Jesse Leach and Frances Leach. He was an aircraft assembler and a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Doug) Gross of Morton, Wash.; son, Gene Leach of West Jordan, Utah; brother, Ruben Leach of Adona; sister, Violet Hall of Hot Springs; six grandsons, Rodger (Megan) Leach of Puyallup, Wash., Bryon Leach of Layton Utah, Mike (Anna) Leach of Centerville, Utah, Chad Eddings of Louisville, Ky., Joshua (Megan) Eddings of Texas, and Jesse (Jeni) Eddings of Dayton, Ohio; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Leach, and eight siblings. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at McGhee Cemetery near Adona with Roger Pearce officiating.
