Ronnie Lee Brown, age 57 of North Little Rock, passed away December 27, 2017 in North Little Rock. He was born on January 31, 1960 in Sheridan Arkansas; He was the son of Lyman D. and Elizabeth F. Brown. Ronnie Brown was born and raised in Sheridan, Arkansas and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1978. He served a 2-year mission in Kobe-Osaka Japan for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1979-1981. He met the love of his life and married his princess, Suzette, in the Jordan River Temple in 1983 as they were sealed for all time and eternity. He received his BSN and worked for Baptist Health for 29 years. In 1993, due to an automobile accident, he suffered a spinal cord injury and became a quadriplegic. He never complained. In 2015 he received the Phil Stinebuck Courage Award. Ronnie loved his family more than anything. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a faithful member and served in many leadership positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a success in the face of adversity and an example to many. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyman Brown, and mother-in-law, NaVeda Lewis. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Suzette Brown; daughter, Jennifer Clough (Tim); son, Joseph Brown (Kaylee); three granddaughters, Lyla, Kenly, and Lacey; one grandson, Zane; his mother, Elizabeth Brown; three sisters, Donna Fogus (Hilton), Brenda Pannozzo (Vinnie), and Angela Brown; two brothers, Donald Brown (Tunnie), and Christopher Brown (Leslie); father-in-law James Lewis; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 905 Kierre Dr. North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Viewing will be 9 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. The internment will be immediately following at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, 8507 AR-161, North Little Rock, Ark. 72117.
