David Eugene Thomas

David Eugene Thomas, 56, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017. He was born June 4, 1961 in Litchfield, Ill., to the late Donald A. & Margaret (Rebbe) Thomas. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Catholic faith. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards with his family, the horse races, casinos and was a big Cubs fan. Survivors include his siblings Martha Sue Weise, Jo Ann Harris (Larry), Donald Thomas (Belinda), Patricia Critchlow (Jack), Jane Fielden (Bill), Jack Thomas and Ed Thomas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation and Rosary will be Wednesday at St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church, beginning at 9:30 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
