James Tanner

James Ronald Tanner, age 70, of Traskwood, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017. He was born March 25, 1946 in Malvern, Arkansas. James retired from Alcoa and was a member of Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delta Tanner and father, James Olin Tanner. He is survived by his son, Ronnie Tanner of Traskwood; daughter, Lesha Tanner of Shannon Hills; mother, Lillie Marie Tanner of Traskwood; sister, Patsy Shuffield of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Jennifer Hall, Amanda Williams, Rachel Moreland and Joshua Tanner and six great-grandchildren, Skyler Hall, Chloe Hall, Ayden Doherty, Karri Doherty, Walker Doherty and Parker Rodgers. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 1 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 2 at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Fairplay Cemetery. Bro. Tony Williams will be officiating.
