Trenton Lynn Ruddell

Trenton "Trent" Lynn Ruddell, 28, of Searcy entered Heaven Friday, February 10, 2017. He was born in Searcy July 21, 1988, the son of Perry and Tonya Waire Ruddell. When Trent was eight years old, he accepted Christ as his Savior and became a member of Valley Baptist Church where he remained a member until his death. His energy, smile, and love for life touched many people in his short 28 years. Trent's sense of adventure recently led him to Colorado where he worked in technical support for an electronics company. Trent's smile and passion for life will linger in the hearts and faces of his two surviving daughters, Kynley and Kayton Ruddell of Searcy. Trent is also survived by his parents, Tonya and Rick Elliott (Searcy) and Perry and Brittany Ruddell (Searcy); brothers, Tate Ruddell, Traike Elliott, Peyton Ruddell, Elijah Ruddell, and Jacoby Herrin all of Searcy; sisters, Nicole Elliott Lee (John) of Fayetteville, and Lucy Ruddell of Searcy; grandparents, Atlas and Judy Ruddell; grandmothers, Wanda McCorkle, Tolice Elliott, and Connie Waire; and a host of extended family and friends. Trent was preceded in death by his grandfathers, "Papa D" (Vernon Waire), "Papa Harvey" (Harvey McCorkle), and "Grandpa Elliott" (Ancil Elliott). Friends and family are invited to visit with the family during the visitation service from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 16, at Valley Baptist Church. Trent's celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 17, also at Valley Baptist. Trent's body will await resurrection in Honey Hill Cemetery.
