Flora Francis Leoffler

Flora Francis Leoffler, of Hot Springs and formerly of Arkadelphia and El Dorado, passed away peacefully Monday, February 13 at the age of 94. She was born in Arkadelphia to Joseph Jody Francis and Lucy Freeman Francis on January 29, 1923. She was predeceased by all her six siblings and husband Jack Leoffler. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Riggle Dwiggins and her son Ronnie Riggle, four grandchildren, Aaron, Bobby, Chris and Barry, seven great-grandchildren, Jack, Reese, Ashlyn, Carter, Sadie, Hannah and Haylea, one great-great-grandchild, Brylie. She went to school at Arkadelphia High School and Henderson State Teachers College. She also lived in California, Oregon and Oklahoma but Arkansas was the home she loved. She was a lifelong Methodist and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs, Ark. She was a former member of First United Methodist Churches in Arkadelphia and El Dorado, Ark. She was beloved by her family and all who knew her. She retired from a career in banking, including Merchants & Planters Bank in Arkadelphia and National Bank of Commerce in El Dorado, Ark. She was active in many organizations during her life including Bible Study Fellowship in El Dorado and Hot Springs. She was an excellent cook and especially enjoyed hosting her family during holidays and special occasions. She never met a stranger and had many friends. She was a very kind woman to all who knew her. She was a very caring and sweet mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Aaron Riggle, Bobby Riggle, Chris Dwiggins and Barry Dwiggins. Services will be held at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel in Arkadelphia on Thursday, February 16 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
