Darnell Weed-Berberich

DARNELL WEED-BERBERICH, 69, of Maumelle passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017. She was born Oct. 6, 1947 in New Orleans, La., to Clarence and Mary Giangrosso Ganaway. She was a graduate of UALR and retired from Bridgeway. She is a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She is survived by son, Gary Wayne Weed, Jr.; her brother, Donald Ganaway; sister, Madonna "Maddie" Ganaway;; three nieces, Lacey Morvant, Amanda and Natalie Ganaway; and great-nephews and niece, Taegen, Liam and Novalynn Morvant. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gregory Berberich. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary School Fund, 7025 Jasna Gora Drive, North Little Rock, Ark. 72118 or Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark., 72116. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 with a Rosary service prior to mass at 10 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
