George B. Broomfield

George B. Broomfield, 69, of Little Rock, passed away on Feb. 18, 2017. He was born on Jan. 5, 1948 in Clarksville, to the late Sonny and Lorene Harris Broomfield. George attended the Arkansas School for the Deaf and was a member of the Little Rock Association of the Deaf. He was a fan of the Los Angeles Rams and enjoyed Nascar. George worked for Colonial Bakery for many years until their closing. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter; Janie Thomasson and husband Mat, grandsons, Shane, Zachery, and Matthew, brother; Gary Broomfield and wife Leta, as well as two step sons; Mike and Mark. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother; Ronald, one sister; Joan, and his beloved wife Mary, who he missed and looked forward to seeing again.
