Sherry Ann (Estes) Stone passed away Friday Feb. 17, 2017 in Conway, Ark. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Jim Stone. In addition to her husband she is survived by her son James Stone, daughter Jennifer Sherrod, six grandchildren Alex Sherrod, Lauren Sherrod, Griffin Sherrod, Lance Papera, Blake Papera and Jessica Vail all of Conway. She is preceded in death by her parents Guy Dan Estes and Lucille Adams Estes, Sister Nancy Miller, Brothers James Larry Estes, William Loring Estes and Guy Dan Estes Jr. Sherry was a graduate of UCA with bachelor's degrees in Elementary education and Library Science. She was a lifelong educator teaching eight years in Crossett, Arkansas, three years in Grand Prairie, Texas and the final 23 as a librarian in the elementary and middle school in Conway. Sherry loved to be around her grandchildren and spent a lot of time with them. She had a love of travel and has been to most of the states with her family. Some of her hobbies were reading and interior decorating especially doing her Christmas village. Every year she would make a trip to War Eagle in northwest Arkansas to buy crafts to help decorate the house. She bought Christmas gifts for everyone and clothes for herself. Funeral services for Sherry will be Tuesday Feb. 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday night the 20th from 5-7 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family would like to give special thanks to Kindred Hospice for the excellent care that they gave her.
