Frances Collins Trice

Frances Collins Trice peacefully passed away surrounded by family February 20th, 2017 in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 90. She was born in Humphrey, Arkansas on August 8th, 1926 to James Miller Collins and Sarah Day Collins. She lived most of her adult life in Pine Bluff, Ark. and was married to William Roland Trice. Together they raised two daughters, Carla Trice Grayson and Judy Trice Sanders (Mark). She taught kindergarten at Wesley United Methodist Church for many years. After retiring, she and Roland moved to Bull Shoals, Arkansas and enjoyed fishing the White River and playing golf. She was predeceased by her parents, husband and three sisters; Gertude Roe of Eureka Springs, Ark., Viva Wegert of Almyra, Ark. and Dorthy Hall of Heber Springs, Ark. She is survived by her daughters and one sister, Betty Sledge,of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Julia Grayson Hamra (Ryan), Little Rock, Ark., Brian Grayson (Lisa), Cabot Ark., Helen-Frances Sanders, Farmington, Ark. and William Joseph Sanders, Jonesboro, Ark. and five great-grandchildren, Alissa Sanders, Spencer Hamra, Madelyn Hamra, Liam Hamra and Cooper Grayson. A private Funeral Service is planned. Memorials to Arkansas Sheriff's Youth Ranch, 100 St. Vincent Place, Batesville , Ark. 72501.
