Thelma Cockrum Shock, 87, of Morrilton passed away on January 3, 2017. Thelma was born on Sunday, December 29, 1929 in Winslow, Arkansas to Eddie and Joan Cockrum. Thelma grew up in Clarksville where she finished high school in 1948 and then graduated from Business College. She retired as a real estate specialist in Conway. She loved golf and played in many tournaments around the state. She also loved painting, cooking and fishing. She was a Christian, brought up in the Assembly of God Church and later became a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lish Shock; and one brother, Corbie and one sister, Jo Eddie Cockrum. She is survived by her sons, Floyd (Fill) Neeley III, Steven Clay Neely; two sisters, Lena Laney, Pam Cockrum; one brother, Owen Cochran; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1 pm, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Visitation will be at 12 noon at the Funeral Home in Conway.
