SSG. Cameron Wade Beckwith, 35, of Judsonia, Arkansas passed from this life to his heavenly home on Wednesday January 4, 2017 at a local hospital surrounded by his family. Cameron was born April 21, 1981 in Little Rock to Greg and Terrie (Johnson) Beckwith. Cameron was known for his big hugs, big smile and BIG HEART. Those were gifts he shared with all. Cameron has shared the gift of life though organ donation, his heart still beats in the chest of a fortunate recipient. The family entreats you to consider doing the same. Cameron served with distinction in the United States Army having been deployed in 2004-2005 to Kuwait; 2008-2009 and 2011-2012 in Iraq and currently on active duty as a recruiter with the United States Army. Cameron wore his uniform with pride and was Army proud and Beckwith family proud. Cameron is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Ron Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife Michelle Beckwith and would have celebrated their one year anniversary in just a couple days, also survived by two sons: Brynn and Alex Beckwith of Freemont, Ohio; three daughters: Angelia, Adriana and Alysia King all of Judsonia; his father: Greg Beckwith and wife Renee of Lonsdale; mother: Terrie Lorenson and husband Mike of Bryant; one sister: Halie Beckwith of Benton; Maternal Grandmother: Geneva Johnson of Bryant; paternal grandparents: Archie and Shirley Beckwith of Lonsdale and a host of brothers in the arm forces and friends. A visitation with reception will be held on Monday January 9, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on January 10, 2017 at Ten Mile Baptist Church, 17511 Hwy. 70, Lonsdale. Services have been entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
