Carol Anne Schneider

Carol Anne Schneider, 58, of Sherwood, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2016. Carol was a loving aunt and sister. She graduated from Mount St. Mary Academy and UALR, then went on to obtain her master's degree in English at the University of Pennsylvania. Carol followed in her father's footsteps and began working at the U.S. Postal Service after she moved back to Arkansas and was a 35-year veteran. She held various positions including window clerk, union representative and post master. She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Schneider and mother, Joyce Schneider. She is survived by her sister, Laura; brother, Steve; niece, Renee; and nephew, Johnny. She leaves behind a loving extended family and many friends. Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7000 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, on Saturday morning, January 21 at 11 a.m. All friends and family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, Carol requested donations to be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society. The family wishes to thank all her care-givers at St. Vincent's Hospital and Arkansas Hospice.
