Donald Joe Sparks

Donald Joe Sparks, 80, died January 17, 2017, at home. He was born September 23, 1936, to the late Claud "CT" and Dorothy Gwathney Sparks in Marianna. Mr. Sparks is survived by his wife, JoJo Sparks, whom he married January 17, 1958; his sons, "Sparky" (Melissa) Sparks of Birmingham, Ala. and Russ (Laura) Sparks of White Hall, Ark.; his daughter, Penne (Roger) May of Brickeys, Ark.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his loyal canine companion, Cooper; and the "Boss's" dedicated nurse, "C." Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2017, at First Christian Church, Marianna. A graveside service will follow at Marianna Memorial Park.
