Juanita Fern Morphew

Juanita Fern Morphew, 81, of Cabot, passed away January 18, 2017. She was born on March 11, 1935 in Heber Springs to the late Andrew D. and Eunice (Anderson) Rye. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Morphew, three sisters; Glendene James, Joyce Hester, and Linda Temple. Juanita was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She enjoyed aerobics at the Cabot Civic Center,was an avid reader, and the World's Best Cookie Maker. Survivors include two sons; James H. Morphew II, of Quitman, Ark., Kirk G. Morphew of Jefferson, Texas, two brothers; Eugene Rye (Betty), James Rye, two sisters; Kitty Eaton (Glenn), Sue Carrington, four grandchildren, Jamie Zaruba, Alicia Morphew, Brianna Morphew, and James K. Morphew, other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
