Donna Sue Winter, 71, of Lowell, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017. She was born May 7, 1945 in Denver, Colo. to Donald Webster and Grace Laurine Taylor Marley. Donna was devoted to her family and loved music and animals. She spent her life try to make the lives of others better through her work as a licensed master social worker, drug court coordinator, and involvement in various organizations including starting the battered women's shelter in Harrison. She is survived by two sons, Jeff Preston and wife Donna of Brookfield, Mo., Don Preston of Springdale; a sister, Debbie Roberson of California; a brother, Roger Marley of California; seven grandchildren, Jason, Kelsey, Nathan, Brandon, Michael, Justice, Marshal; seven great-grandchildren, Lilliana, Allison, Caden, Madison, Aubrey, Name, Name; and several nieces and nephews including Kenny, Tina and Harry. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Lynn Pack; a granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Preston; a great-granddaughter, Brittany; and a sister, Diane. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com. Interment will be at Mount Comfort Cemetery. Bearers will be Jeff Preston, Don Preston, Jason Preston, Michael Preston, Nathan Lowery, Brandon Pack and Kenney Marley.
