Gracie Leona Waldrop Stanfill, age 94, of Springdale, Ark. went to be with her Lord on Jan. 22, 2017 at the Maples Nursing Home in Springdale. She was born Nov. 11, 1922 in Fort Smith, Ark., the daughter of W.E and Arizona Aldridge Waldrop. Gracie was a member of First Assembly of God in Springdale. She served in many areas of ministry over the years in churches in Fort Smith, Russellville and Springdale. Gracie was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Kenneth in 2010. Also preceding her were her parents and four siblings.. Survivors include her sons Jerry and his wife Phyllis of Springdale, Rick and his wife Judy of Fort Smith; her daughter Donna Farris and her husband Bob of Springdale; her grandchildren Jennifer and Murphy Still, Jill and Tony Law, Jeff and Kimberly Stanfill, Toby Stanfill, Justin Farris and Kendra Farris; Six great-grandchildren, Alex and Brandon Still, Emily, Kobey and Ryleigh Jo Stanfill, and Lauren Law; her brother Claudie Waldrop and his wife Lela of Muldrow, Oklahoma; her sister-in-law Ann Waldrop of Fort Smith; her special friend Darlene Vanhook; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. A celebration of Gracie's life will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 at Westfield Chapel.
