James Edgar Ferguson

James Edgar Ferguson Spartanburg, S.C.: James Edgar Ferguson, 85, of Spartanburg died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Ferguson was the husband of Carolyn Hughes Ferguson for 67 years and was the son of the late John Claud Ferguson and Cecil Dann Grist. Mr. Ferguson retired from Mohawk Tire and Rubber and Ferguson and Humphries Construction where he did custom home building. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Cowpens, SC. In addition to his wife survivors include three sons, Jim Edd Ferguson and his wife Bonnie of Redfield, Ark., Dann Patrick Ferguson and his wife Michelle of Colonial Heights, Va., and Hugh Nathan Ferguson and his wife Lorrie of Lexington, Va.; three daughters, Jamie C. Fleetwood and her husband Lawrence of Cowpens, SC, Jan F. Humphries of Cowpens, SC and Susan F. Henderson and her husband Dallas of Plummer, ID; three sisters, Margaret Wallace and Juanita Grimmett both of Little Rock, Ark., and Pat Dickey and her husband J.C. of Maumelle, Ark. Visitation will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at Maumelle First Baptist Church, Maumelle, Ark., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. and burial in England, Ark.
