Clifton W. Ollar

Clifton W. Ollar, 74, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died Saturday, January 21, 2017, at his home. He was born September 14, 1942, in Pine Bluff, to E. C. and Maude Stone Ollar. He was reared and received his education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. He had worked for Cotton Belt, retiring as a conductor. He was a Baptist. He also was an avid duck hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Bell Ollar, whom he married on October 10, 1964, in Sheridan and his parents. He is survived by sons, Clifton Ryan Ollar (Lindsey) of White Hall, Mike Stanfield (Sherry) of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Diane McCollough (Scott) of Montezuma, Iowa, Barbara Deveny (Richard) of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a brother, Terry Ollar (Terri) of Pine Bluff. Visitation will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at Robinson's. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Graceland Cemetery with Reverend John Brown officiating by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
