William Edmond Jackson

William Edmond Jackson of Bentonville, Ark. completed his walk on this earth Jan. 27, 2017. He was born in the Dug Hill Community April 27, 1930 to William Roy and Pearl Brown Jackson. Edmond retired as a licensed mortician-Funeral Director. He was a member of the First Baptist Centerton Church. He served in the US Army in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Arleen Jackson of the home; a daughter, Linda Dover and husband Ken of Rogers, Ark.; two sons, Dennis Jackson of Bentonville, Ark. and Steven Jackson and wife Debra of Gentry, Ark.; two grandchildren, Jeremy Jackson and wife Michelle of Gentry, Ark. and Stephanie Hathcock and husband Tom of Glenco, Okla.; and three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Jackson, Emily Jackson and Lila Grace Hathcock. Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, Ark. Graveside service will be Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale, Arkansas.
