Jane "Mommom" Williams, of Harrison, passed from this life on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House. She was 82 years old. Funeral service is Monday, July 3, 2017 at Omaha First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Brother Gene France will officiate. Burial will be in Omaha Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Dixon, Brad Matlock, Trent Bates, Brady Boone, Brennan Boone, and Grant Shelton. Honorary pallbearers are Conrad Boone and Leo Dorrell. The daughter of Frank Aubrey and Nodie (Naremore) Taylor was born on January 2, 1935 in Strong, Ark. Jane graduated from Strong High School in 1952. She attended Henderson State University for 1 ½ years. She graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 1969. Jane taught for 27 years in the El Dorado School District. She retired in 1997. She was a member of Omaha First Baptist Church. Her parents; and one son, Guy Taylor Williams preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of nearly 34 years, Clarence Williams; one son, Scott Clifford Williams, of Charlotte, Ark.; one daughter, Jana Baker and husband, Steve, of Omaha, Ark.; one sister, Frankye Taylor and husband, Tom, of Arlington, Texas; stepchildren, Chuck Williams, Tina Collier, Mecca Clark and husband, Mark, and Tracey Williams; three grandchildren, Allan Tolbert, of Aurora, CO, Taylor Scott Elkins and wife, Maegan, of Huntsville, Ark., and Aubrey Elkins, of Omaha, Ark.; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
