William Anderson

William David Earl Anderson, age 75, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born January 14, 1942, the son of the late William Henry Anderson, Jr. and Imo Ethel Payne Mitchell. He worked for American Transportation for 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Roberta L. Bingham Anderson of Oppelo; sons, Lex Allan Anderson of Oppelo and Jon Paul Anderson of Houston; daughter, Sonya Mayer of Russellville; six grandchildren, Shawna, Roberta, Chance, Margie, Dylan, and Summer; five great grandchildren, Aiden, Taygen McNeely, Shay Rook, Ayliana Washington, and Zyler Anderson; one sister, Barbara Vales of Morrilton; and one half sister, Sheila Spence. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Anderson and one sister, Patricia Strassle. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 3, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. David Rainey officiating. Burial will be at Ada Valley Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
