Lorna Jerith Schilling

Lorna J. (Gronvold) Schilling of Springdale, Ark., passed away peacefully at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale on June 30, 2017 at the age of 82. She was born on Aug. 5, 1934 on a farm near Byron, Minn., to Orville and Serena (Olson) Gronvold. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Adam Schilling; one sister, Arlene Norman; and one brother Lyle Gronvold. On June 12, 1953 she married her husband, William Schilling, in Rochester, Minn. She retired after working as a private duty nurse in Kansas City, Mo. They had previously lived in Rochester, and Kansas City, Mo., before moving to Fayetteville, Ark. Left to cherish Lorna's memory are her husband of 64 years, William Schilling; two daughters, Rondalyn "Roni" Schilling of Fayetteville, Ark., Teri and husband Ron Johnson of Fayetteville, Ark.; a sister, Marie Parker of Arizona; three grandchildren, Jeff and wife Jennifer of Forney, Texas, Benjamin Johnson of Fayetteville, Ark., Katy and husband Addison Seifritz of Fayetteville, Ark.; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyleigh and Kelsey Johnson, Turner and Ellery Seifritz; and many nieces and nephews.
