Maurice (Maw) Eugene Fields Sr.

Mr. Maurice (Maw) Eugene Fields Sr., 81 years, Antioch, Calif., passed and went to glory on May 7. 2017 in Antioch, Calif. Maurice grew up in North Little Rock, Ark. where he attended Scipio Jones High (NLR) and served three years in the US Army with an honorable discharge. Bro. Fields accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior uniting with First Baptist Church Highland Park, was baptized by Rev. Dr. James S. Allen. He was an only child and was preceded in death by his father, Milton Fields, mother, Emma Moore, step-father, Harvey Moore and son, Maurice Fields Jr. He leaves to mourn, his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Hazel Palmer-Fields; six sons; Kenneth (Linda) Fields (Illinois), Kenneth Fields (Ohio), Quadir Hakeem (California), Milton (Sheila) Fields (Texas), Harvey Fields and Mark Fields (Arkansas); 10 daughters; Carolyn (Ronald) Smith (California), Deborah Heron (Arkansas), Emma Fields & Helen Washington (California), Clarice Bland, Linda (Michael X) Ugbo, Marcie Washington, Carlois Johnson, Rita and Marcia Fields (Arkansas); and a host of aunties, uncles, nephews, nieces, 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends and church family.
