Wilma Jean Matus, age 74, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 10, 2017. She was born January 31, 1943 in Saddle, Arkansas to the late Lester and Pauline Rogers. She graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College with a Bachelor's in Health and Nutrition, she retired from Air Tech Coatings. Ms. Matus was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville, she enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, playing the piano and was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks Basketball fan. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and Gamma. She is survived by her son, Steve Matus (Melissa) of Jacksonville, her daughter, Cielita Koehler (Paul) of Sherwood, her loving grandchildren, Sara, Emma, and Anna Matus all of Jacksonville, one sister, Isophene Wyatt of Branson, Mo., two nieces and four great-nieces Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 at Second Baptist Church with Dr. David O'Dell officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Saddle Cemetery in Saddle, Arkansas.
