M. Rex Henderson, 68, of Malvern passed away on July 8, 2017. Rex was born to the late Murry and Ruby Lovell Henderson on December 1, 1948 in Malvern, Ark. He was an easy going man that befriended all and who had never met a stranger. Rex had worked at Windsor Doors and was a member of the HHH Hunting Club. Rex had a giant heart of gold and loved spending his time with his grandchildren. Rex is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Karen Pilcher Henderson, his daughter, Kellye Henderson, his son, Kameron Henderson, and his brother, Eddie Henderson. Rex is survived by his grandsons, Mason Henderson, Kyle Henderson, his aunt, Vivian Melancen, his sisters-in-law, Emma Henderson and Marge Rodgers, a special person who he thought dearly of Heather Brock, and many nieces, nephews, friends and others that will truly miss him. A Visitation for Rex will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Prairie Bayou Cemetery in Bismarck with Bro. Darryle Sulton officiating.
