Iris Hirman

Iris Virginia Hirman, age 78, of Benton, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017. She was born September 29, 1938 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Hirman was retired from Philips Lighting and a member of West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy R. and Steva Lee Strange; son, Gregory Caple and a daughter, Cheryl Hawkins. She is survived by her husband, Milton Hirman; son, Joe Caple; step-son, Michael Hirman; two brothers, Hugh and Michael Strange; sister, Barbara Wood; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 16 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 17 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery.
