Verda F. Johnson

Verda F. Johnson, age 88, of Cabot, Arkansas went to be with the Lord July 16, 2017. She was a retired receptionist for Dr. Lewis and retired from K-mart in Cabot. Verda was a Baptist. She loved to cook and quilt. Verda is survived by one son, Tim Johnson of Beaverton, Michigan; one daughter, Debbie Metzer of Cabot; six grandchildren, Melissa Johnson of Arizona, Steve Johnson of Cabot, Jason Crisco of Cabot, Randy Johnson of Michigan, Sara Johnson of Ohio, Keri Christian of Michigan; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Winifred and Flora (Feather) Taylor; two sisters, Laverne Grey and Billie Guy Scott; one son, Jerry Johnson and one great-granddaughter. Family will receive friends starting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 with Funeral to follow at 2 p.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe and burial in Antioch Cemetery.
