Roy Albert Goodsell

Roy Albert Goodsell, age 94, of Jacksonville passed away on July 18, 2017. He was born July 10, 1923 in Vilonia, Arkansas to the late Albert and Irene Shirley Goodsell. Mr. Goodsell was a United States Army Combat Medic during WWII serving in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe, he earned 4 Bronze Service Stars for his service. Mr. Goodsell owned and operated Goodsell Metal Works for 58 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Bernice Goodsell, two sons, Larry Goodsell and David Goodsell, one brother, Odes Goodsell, seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with interment following in Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
