Richard Thomas "Tad" Fiser, went to join his Savior in heaven on the morning of July 25, 2017, passing away peacefully at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas, surrounded by loved ones. Tad was born on August 24, 1965 to Tom and Sandra Fiser; he is a Christ-follower, son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. In 1993, Tad married the love of his life, Laura Dixon, with whom he shared almost 24 years of marriage. Together they pursued the Lord and shared their lives generously with others. God blessed them with three children whom he loved. Tad attended Catholic High, became an enthusiastic basketball fan while at Duke, then studied at UAMS. He was passionate about his work as a pediatric intensivist at Arkansas Children's Hospital where he touched many lives, and made many significant contributions to the development of ACH's ECMO program. He was an elder at Fellowship Bible Church and was blessed by a great community of believers. He served in the United States Air Force, assisted in founding Shepherd's Hope Clinic, was on the Board of Little Rock Christian Academy, and was dedicated to his kids and the community. He was an avid reader, fly-fisherman, outdoorsman, but more than anything loved spending time with his family. Tad leaves behind his beloved wife, Laura, his son, Ben, daughters, Hannah and Claire, parents, Tom and Sandra Fiser, his sister, Leigh and her husband, Brian, niece, Samantha, and nephew, Zachery. He also leaves his cherished in-laws, Bob and Lynn Dixon, and their family. Tad poured himself into his family, and they will miss him dearly, but they cherish the legacy he has left behind and rejoice in the firm hope and peace they have in Jesus Christ. A celebration of Tad's life will be held Thursday, July 27 at Fellowship Bible Church, 1401 Kirk Rd., Little Rock, Ark. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in the Worship Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Vision or The CALL, a local faith-based organization supporting foster children and foster families in Arkansas. Arrangements by Little Rock Funeral Home, (501) 224-2200. Tad's online guestbook may be signed at www.littlerockfuneralhome.com.
