James Randall Shelton

James Randall Shelton, 64 of Benton, passed away July 26, 2017. He was born February 25, 1953 in Benton to Virgil Henry and Nellie Marie Wheeler Shelton. James was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was co-owner of BWJ Electric and a Master Electrician. James was a loving, faithful husband, dad and "Papaw." He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bud Shelton and step-dad, Argus Hardin. James is survived by his loving beautiful bride, Debby Shelton, son, Justin (Brandy) Shelton of Benton, daughters, Holly (Tony) Vaughn of Benton, Jessica (Jaran) Miller of London, Sarah (Justin) Stallsworth of Benton and Paige Shelton of Benton, brother, Carroll Shelton, Hot Springs, sisters, Catherine Melton, Benton, Dorothy Franklin, Benton, Joyce Boyd, Lonsdale, Linda Beck, Glen Rose, and Vikki Langley, Benton, grandchildren, Jackson and Taylor Shelton, Kyleigh Vaughn, Jalynn and Garrison Miller, and due August 19th, Jameson Shelton. A Memorial service will be held July 29th, 11 a.m. at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with James Coward and Roger Brown officiating.
