Sandra Ann Rogers, 71, of Mayflower passed away peacefully Thursday, June 1, 2017. She was born January 20, 1946 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Maurice Farnsworth and Evelyn Marguerite Stanley. She wholeheartedly loved her family, friends, puzzles and fishing. She fought and won her battle with breast cancer but it forced her into an early retirement from the U.S. Postal Service. She was passionate about her job and dearly loved her postal family. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Kaylynn Ruffin and her husband Nick; grandson, Cody Ruffin and his wife, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Eason and Leila Ruffin; brother, Gene Stanley; brother, Edward Stanley and his wife, Laura. Though divorced from her second husband she still greatly loved her stepchildren and their families whom she considered her own; Sheri Meyer and husband Ken, James Rogers Jr.; step-grandchildren, Christopher Meyer, Bradley Meyer and wife Stephanie and Alex Rogers; step-great-grandchildren, Hadley and Kiersten Meyer. She will be remembered in love by all her family as well as other nephews, nieces, cousins, other extended family and friends. Her family wants to extend a heartfelt thanks to Elmcroft Assisted Living and the staff for their care and support and mostly for loving her and being a special part of her life this past year. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your charity of choice. An informal Celebration of Sandra's Life will be held from 2 to 4: p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street.
