HERBERT "HERB" CHARLES PRINCE JR., 74, of Little Rock went to be with his Savior Thursday June 1, 2017. He was born May 24, 1943 in Little Rock, Ark., to Herbert C. Prince and Zelma Roland. Herb graduated High School in Coppers Cove, Texas; graduated from East Texas Baptist University and received a Masters of Theology from Mid-America Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tenn. For fourteen years Brother Herb pastored Southern Baptist Churches in Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky and Texas. He was on staff at and a member of Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church. He served as Field Director for Abundant Life Ministries in Honduras since 1982. Herb loved his family and friends both in the United States and Honduras, but most of all he loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife Joan Flynn Prince; Daughters, Leah Harvey; Angela Starks (Kenneth); Sons, Armando Pavon Prince (Ingrid); Adam Prince (Lesly); Grandchildren, Victoria, Chelsie, Magan, Vivian, Raquel; Great-grandson, Kade; Brother, Royce Ruple (Marie); Brothers-in-law, Carroll Flynn (Linda), Phillip Flynn (Gina); Eight nieces and nephews, and their children. Services will be held at Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church.
