Mack Edward Hillis

Mack Edward Hillis, age 77, of Houston, Ark., passed away Friday, June 2nd, 2017. He was born Nov. 1, 1939, a son of the late Earl Edward Hillis and Mildred Lankford Hillis. He retired from a long career in sales, was of the Christian faith, and had served as mayor of Houston, Ark. Survivors include his sons, Mike (Joann) Hillis of Virginia Beach, Va., Charles (Leslie) Hillis Sr. of Branson, Mo., Shaun Hillis, and Joseph Hillis of Little Rock; daughter Sheila Hillis of Seymour, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Memorial Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, at May Cemetery with Bro. John Chapman officiating. Service and arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
