Rosie Marie Burks

Rosie Marie Burks, 89, passed from this life on June 11, 2017.She was born April 13, 1928 in Little Rock, Ark. to Franklin Dotson and Sadie McDaniel. She was a longtime member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves behind nine children: Helen Caridine, Curtis Williams, Betty Hinton, Margie Dale, Kathie Louden, Tommy Williams, Kenneth Nichols, Maxine Gantt and Gail Walker. Also left to cherish her loving memory are a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Viewing of the body will be Friday, June 16, 2017, 12 noon-4 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St,. Little Rock, Ark. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 17, 2017, 11 a.m., at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 2501 S. Main Street, Little Rock.
