Helen Rogers

Helen Rogers, 84, of Little Rock, passed away June 13, 2017. Born on March 28, 1933 in Lamont, Arkansas, she was the daughter of William and Mae Bridges. Helen retired from Reynolds Metals Company after many years of hard work and dedication. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Mabelvale. She enjoyed spending every moment she could with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years, Troy Rogers; daughter, Mona Boyce; brother, Cecil Bridges; sister, Georgia Bridges; and grandson, David Rogers. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Rogers; and son, Bill Rogers (Cindy); brother, Bill Bridges (Linda); sister, Patricia Kelley (Rommie); two granddaughters, Stephanie Simmons (David) and Sara Rogers; one grandson, Blake Rogers (Karen); two great grandsons Colby and Preston Rogers; and one great-granddaughter, Claire Simmons. Services will be held Friday, June 16, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 1401 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas, with a visitation at 1 p.m. prior to service. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
