Leroy Levon"LL" Brown

Leroy Levon"LL" Brown, 58, transitioned into eternity at his home in Reed, Ark. on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Leroy was born to the late Lewis Brown Sr. and Alice Ruth Brown on May 4, 1959 in Reed, Ark. After graduation from Tillar High School, he enlisted in the United States Army. Leroy worked for the electric company in McGehee, Ark. for several years before he and his family relocated to Liberty, Mo., where he worked for Missouri. Because of failing health, he retired and moved back home to spend the remainder of his life with his mother. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Brown Sr., seven sisters and three brothers. Loving memories are left with Sylvia Graves Brown, his children, Garrett (Riley), LaLToya, Asheley, and Bethany al of Missouri; and his grandchildren, Kandace and shepherd also of Missouri. His mother, Alice R. Brown of Reed, Ark.; sisters, Joyce Ellis, Louisene "Pat" Roth (Lawrence), Ida Rose Johnson (Willie), Elana McNealy Moore (Ron), Olivia Giles and Shirley Jones; brothers, Vernon Brown (Charmaine), Samuel Brown, Fredrick Brown, Lewis Brown Jr., and Hura Brown (Margaret), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. family hour will be from 12 noon-1 p.m. at FirstChurch of God in Christ, 100 Sherman St., McGehee, Ark. on Saturday, June 17, 2017. Services will be immediately after the family hour at First Church of God in Christ. Leroy's final resting place will be at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave., Sherwood, Ark.
