George Enos Robbins, age 83, of Elkins, died Monday, June 19, 2017. He was born October 15, 1933 in Thompson, Arkansas, the son of Clyde and Ester Scranton Robbins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. He a retired truck driver for the Campbell Soup Company. He attended Crosses Community Church and Harris Baptist Church and was on the board of Walnut Grove Cemetery. He loved hunting and fishing and visiting coffee shops and collecting pocket knives. He was a United States Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Floy Robbins; a daughter, Anita Carol Robbins of Fayetteville; special nieces, nephews and special cousins, special friends including caregiver, Natalie Alverado. Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2017 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday at Crosses Community Church followed by burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
