Don Logan Dillard

Don Logan Dillard, age 90, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Courtyard Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on March 20, 1927 in Gurdon, the son of the late Charles Fuller and Rosalie Deaton Dillard. Don was a 1944 graduate of Gurdon High School and a 1952 graduate of Indiana Institute of Technology. He served in the United States Navy and was employed by Texaco as a marketing director. After his retirement, Don's hobbies included designing homes and businesses. He was of the Baptist faith. Don was preceded in death by his sister, Anne. He is survived by his wife, Beryl J. Dillard of Arkadelphia, his son, David Dillard (Shannon) of Steamboat Springs, Colo., his step-son, Christopher Paul Ras of Ocean Springs, Miss., three grandchildren, Kendall Allen and Matt Dillard of Fayetteville, Ark. and Taylor Dillard of Steamboat Springs, Colo. and one great grandchild, Madelyne Vice of Fayetteville, Ark. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1897, Little Rock, Ark. 72203. Private family services will be held. The family would like to extend special thanks to Courtyard Gardens and Baptist Hospice for their wonderful care of Don in his final days.
