Freda Mae Sims

Freda Mae Sims, age 88, passed away in Bentonville on June 22, 2017. She was born May 1, 1929 in Eureka Springs, Ark., to Orba and Martha (Downs) Vanderpool. She is survived by her sons; Randall and Yumi Slinkard of San Diego, Calif., Terry and Patty Slinkard of Bentonville, Ark.; daughter Teresa Rosebeary and Larry Ott of Rogers, Ark.; and one brother, Max Vanderpool. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Eugene Slinkard, Grady Sims, Glen McWhorter, three brothers and three sisters. Visitation and funeral service will be Monday, June 26, 2017. Visitation at noon and funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
