Ira Grover Jones

Ira Grover Jones peacefully passed away June 22, 2017. Ira enjoyed a 35 year career with the railroad beginning as a Machinist Apprentice with the Chicago and Eastern Illinois RR and retiring as System Manager for Brakes with the Union Pacific. He was a life time member of Olive Branch Masonic Lodge #38, the Shriners, Danville Consistory and a member of the Elks Ira is survived by his wife of 66 years, Barbara, daughter, Carol Brown and grandchildren, Lindan Lawson and Christopher Brown. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., July 1 at the Suntree United Methodist Church, 7400 N Wickham Rd., Melbourne, Fla. 32940.
