Doris Jean Smith

Doris Jean Smith-Mimi, 70, of Little Rock, passed away, Thursday, February 23, 2017. She was born June 26, 1946. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dennis R. Smith, Jr. of Little Rock; her parents, Bill and Nell Glenn of Greenbrier; her sister, Brenda Drawbaugh of Conway; her daughter, Deana Luyet (Thomas) of Wye Mountain; her son, Glenn Smith (Alicia) of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Preston Smith, Nathan Luyet, Trevor Luyet, Mitchell Luyet, and Presley Smith; her nephew Douglas Drawbaugh (Jennifer) and their children of Conway and countless cousins. Doris was a childcare provider in her home for 29 years and cared for many children she loved. She was married to her husband for 50 years and enjoyed traveling the state with him and going to her grandchildren's activities. She enjoyed going out with her friends having margaritas, loved expensive purses, jewelry and clothes, shopping was her "thing". She was an excellent cook and she had an amazing giving heart. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Forrest Hills, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark.
