Paul Allen Cook, 75, of Searcy, passed away February 26, 2017 at Searcy Healthcare. He was born June 30, 1941 at Holly Springs, Arkansas to the late Cecil and Stella Ferren Cook. Mr. Cook was a 1959 graduate of Searcy High School and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a well known and highly regarded car salesman of 55 years, working the longest part of his career for Carder Buick-Olds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Bernel Cook and Melvin McCoy Cook; and one sister, Naomi Louise Gilliam. He is survived by two sons, Ronald Paul Cook (Ann) of Little Rock and Paul Allen Cook Jr. of Sherwood; a daughter, Paula Ann Cowden (Doug) of Hendersonville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Tucker, Savannah, John, and Caleb; two brothers, Kenneth Cook (Mary) of Searcy and Carl Cook (Frances) of Velvet Ridge; and one sister, Betty Feltrop (Herman) of Searcy. After cremation, the family will have a graveside burial of his ashes at Holly Springs Cemetery 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017.
